Reopening Beaird Harris

Updated – June 30, 2020

Friends of Beaird Harris –

We hope and pray that this finds you and your family healthy, happy, and safe! We have missed seeing all of you and are looking forward to taking the first steps toward a sense of normalcy as we cautiously reopen on Monday, May 18th.

General Beaird Harris Precautions

We want you to know that the safety of our clients and our team is extremely important to us, and we are making every effort to follow CDC guidelines to keep everyone safe. Here are just a few precautions we’re taking:

  • We have created a Return-to-the-Office Schedule that allows our team to integrate back into the office in smaller groups, instead of everyone returning at once. We will do this slowly and carefully and in compliance with reasonable guidelines.
  • The Firm has purchased antimicrobial film that continues to kill germs for several days, even after being touched, to put on door knobs and other commonly touched areas.
  • Our Administrative Team is wiping down door knobs, buttons on coffee machines, water machine knobs, refrigerator handles, cabinet handles, countertops, printers and copiers in common areas using cleaning products that meet CDC recommendations several times per day. They will also wipe down all lobby door knobs, conference room tables and chairs after each use to help ensure everyone’s safety.
  • Our building is having day porters wipe all touch points consisting of elevator push buttons (inside cab and out), door handles/push plates going into the building and restrooms, all fixtures/handles and dispensers in restrooms at least twice a day on all floors with either Clorox wipes or hospital grade disinfectant.
  • The Firm has provided hand sanitizer at every work station and has face masks available for anyone who may want one.

Returning to the Office

Please note that we strongly encourage Zoom meetings whenever possible, for both client meetings and our own internal team meetings. With that said, if you have extenuating circumstances that requires an office visit, we ask that you please consider the following:

  • If you or a family member is sick or showing symptoms of COVID-19, or if you are high-risk or the caretaker of a high-risk individual, stay home.
  • Masks are required (over the nose and mouth).  Masks are available upon entering our suite if you need one.  Dallas County requires businesses to mandate masks on premises.
  • Before entering our suite, please wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water just down the hall in the restrooms to the right of our entry doors.
  • Upon entering our suite, you will be taken immediately to your meeting space. We ask that you space yourself appropriately away from our team.
  • When leaving, please do not linger in the foyer to visit.

We hope you appreciate and understand the measures we are taking during this early phase of reopening. We truly appreciate your cooperation in our efforts towards keeping you and our team safe and healthy.
