Matt joined Beaird Harris in 2018 bringing a myriad of experience from public accounting, the retail sector and private equity. Matt leads our Business Advisory Team, and believes successful organizations require strategic financial leadership and support to compete in today’s market. From early stage businesses in growth mode to mature organizations in transition, Matt can help bridge the financial management gap. He knows business owners are under constant pressure to make operational decisions with financial and tax implications, and his expertise is aimed at providing reassurance and accessibility.

Matt graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting before earning his CPA license in 2016. He is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves on the Intuit Partner Council and previously served on Gusto’s CPA Advisory Council.
