Genny joined Beaird Harris in 2009. Prior to joining the Firm, Genny spent five years working with a local public accounting firm and two years with a Big 4 firm in Dallas.
Genny specializes in providing tax compliance, planning and consulting services to individual, partnership, and corporate clients. She has developed an extensive knowledge in the healthcare industry. She also has extensive experience with oil and gas, real estate, law firms and entrepreneurs of various professions. Genny focuses on providing personalized guidance to clients by developing a deep knowledge of their businesses and their life as a whole. The most rewarding part of her career is seeing her clients prosper and look to her as a trusted advisor.
Genny is actively involved in the firm’s Practice Management and Process Development Team. She has an in-depth understanding of the infrastructure and operations of Beaird Harris. She is also the Partner in Charge of Recruiting. She enjoys serving as a mentor to existing staff and developing the up and coming leaders of the firm.
Genny is a 2004 graduate of the University of North Texas where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting Control Systems. She received her CPA license in February of 2010. Genny was chosen to be a member of the Leadership Development Academy of 2011 sponsored by the Dallas CPA Society. She also serves on the scholarship committee for the Dallas CPA Society. Genny is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPAs.
