Jimmy joined Beaird Harris in early 2015 and has been a practicing advisor since 1998. He spent his first 17 years in the industry with one of the largest financial service firms in the country, Fidelity Investments. In his time at Fidelity he served in a number of roles including Regional Trainer to advisors on advanced financial planning concepts and strategies. Most recently, he spent eight years as a Vice President in Fidelity’s Private Client Group. In this capacity, he advised high net worth families in building customized plans around wealth accumulation, distribution and multigenerational transfer needs. He has vast experience in retirement income strategy, tax efficiency, risk management, asset protection, philanthropic, trust and estate planning.
Jimmy received his Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998 where he majored in Finance with Minors in Accounting and Economics. He is a Certified Financial Planner® Professional (CFP®) as well as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and Dallas Estate Planning Council. He is also a Mensa member.
Jimmy’s highest priorities are his ethics and transparency with his clients. He understands the tremendous responsibility and integrity required to oversee a family’s personal wealth. The most rewarding aspect of his career are the long standing relationships he builds with his clients. When a family trusts him as a planner he gives them the same focus and attention he would to his own family. He has a strong Christian faith and sees his financial planning practice as his ministry to families to preserve and protect their legacy.
