Makenna’s journey in the world of taxation began with a strong academic foundation. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from University of the Incarnate Word and a Master’s degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Dallas, where she developed a deep understanding of tax principles, regulations, and best practices. Building upon this academic background, Makenna embarked on her professional career with Beaird Harris, drawn to the firm’s reputation for excellence and its commitment to nurturing talent.

Outside the office, Makenna enjoys playing golf, yoga, traveling, listening to podcasts, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
