Paula Allgood is the Managing Partner of Beaird Harris’ Certified Public Accounting Firm, bringing over three decades of expertise and leadership to the role. A key team member since 1991, Paula started as an intern and rose through the ranks to become a Partner in 2002 and Managing Partner in 2021.

Paula serves a broad spectrum of clients including those with complex individual, corporate, partnership, and state income tax situations. Her industry focus centers on professional services companies, such as medical, dental, legal, and franchises. Specifically in the healthcare industry, she works with doctors ranging from sole practitioners to large medical groups, including MSOs. Her wide-ranging experience encompasses everything from complex tax matters to accounting, business consulting, and advisory services.

Paula is also deeply involved in our wealth management practice and passionately works toward helping our clients achieve financial independence. Her extensive tax background allows her to seamlessly integrates her clients financial planning goals with tailored tax strategies for an integrated solution.

Paula simplifies these issues, speaking to clients in relatable terms to ensure they understand their tax and financial landscape. Her clients appreciate her comprehensive, long-term, and forward-thinking approach.

Paula is a 1992 graduate of Texas A&M University and became a CPA in 1994. She is a licensed Investment Advisory Representative and member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPAs. In 2021, she was recognized as the ‘Top Small Company Leader in Dallas’ in the Dallas Morning News. She was profiled in Invest: Dallas-Fort Worth in 2022 and 2023 sharing her insights into the public accounting industry for the local market. And in 2023, Paula’s impact on her community and industry was acknowledged when she was celebrated as a ‘Woman of Influence’ in D Magazine.
