Beaird Harris is a nationally-recognized Certified Public Accounting and fee-only Wealth Management Firm dedicated to helping financially established individuals, families, businesses and healthcare professionals. Beaird Harris offers tax, accounting, business advisory, investment management, financial planning, risk management and estate planning services.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Social Media & Marketing Intern to join our Marketing and Communications Team for Summer 2024. This is a seasonal role, beginning in June and ending in August. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and supporting our social media and marketing technology efforts. This position is perfect for individuals currently pursuing degrees in Marketing, Branding, Advertising, Public Relations, Graphic Design (or related major).

Key Responsibilities:

• Short-form Video: Create, produce, and edit short-form videos and templates to bolster marketing campaigns and initiatives. Concurrently, conduct research and report on emerging trends and tools in social media, with a specific emphasis on short-form video formats like YouTube shorts and Instagram Reels. Utilize these insights to inform our overall strategy.
• Design Templates: Utilize Adobe design software and Canva to develop visually appealing and consistent templates for various social media platforms, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines across social media, marketing materials, and digital assets.
• Social Media: Conduct research on social media best practices, tools, and techniques to inform marketing strategy and maximize effectiveness in reaching our target audiences.
• Content Creation Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop content ideas aligned with the company’s objectives and target audiences.
• Client Engagement Tools: Help launch new online client engagement tools to enhance prospect and client engagement, and streamline the client experience processes.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in a creative field.
  • Marketing, Branding, Advertising, Public Relations, Graphic Design or Related Major
• Proficiency in Adobe design software and Canva. WordPress experience preferred, not required.
• Strong creative and design skills.
• Influencer-level understanding of social media video editing software (or apps).
• Proven ability to create short-form videos on YouTube shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
